Description

The Small Antique Brown Paume Rattan Flower Urn 27cm has a graceful, curved silhouette that lifts a plant off a plain shelf or table. The hand-woven rattan carries a warm antique-brown tone that pairs easily with timber and natural linens.

It works beautifully as a cover pot — set a potted plant inside and the urn does the styling. As natural rattan, it is best kept indoors and away from the weather so it holds its colour and shape.

Styling tip: A soft trailing plant such as ivy or a string-of-hearts looks lovely tumbling over the curved rim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tap any question to see the answer

How realistic do they actually look in person?

We specialise in offering some of the most lifelike artificial plants available anywhere, and we’re genuinely selective about what we stock — if it doesn’t look convincingly real, it doesn’t make the cut. Many of our plants feature real timber trunks, real touch technology, natural colour variation and beautifully textured foliage that consistently surprises people. We also take a lot of care to ensure our product photos are accurate to real life, so what you see on screen is what arrives at your door.

What are your plants made from?

Many of our plants feature real timber trunks and stems, which is one of the key reasons they look so authentic. The foliage is crafted from high-grade polyester, PE (polyethylene) plastics, and in a growing number of products, real-touch technology — meaning the leaves and petals have a soft, natural texture that genuinely feels like the real thing! You’ll find the specific materials listed in the product details on each page.

Can I use them outdoors?

Many of our customers do use their plants outdoors with great results. However, no artificial plant is fully weatherproof, so we’re unable to offer a warranty or guarantee on products kept in external environments. Sun, rain and wind will take a toll over time — particularly on colour. If you do plan to use them outside, we’d recommend a UV protectant spray and positioning them in a sheltered area where possible to get the longest life out of them.

Are they safe around pets and children?

Artificial plants are hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for households with allergy sufferers — no pollen, no soil, no issues. That said, we wouldn’t recommend allowing pets or young children to chew on the leaves or pull the plants apart, as small pieces could pose a choking risk. Treated with the same common sense you’d apply to any home décor item, they’re perfectly safe to have around the house.

Is there any assembly or setup required?

For the vast majority of our products there is no assembly required — they arrive fully complete and ready to display straight out of the box. The only exceptions are some of our larger, giant-sized trees, which may require some very simple assembly (typically connecting the canopy to the trunk). If a product does need any assembly, it will be clearly noted in the product description on that page.

How do I style and shape them when they arrive?

Your plant will arrive with its foliage compressed for safe shipping, so you’ll want to spend a few minutes gently separating and fluffing out the branches and leaves to create a full, natural shape. Start from the bottom and work your way up, bending branches outward and adjusting individual leaves until you’re happy with the overall look. Use our product images as a guide for the finished shape — there’s no right or wrong way, just take your time and adjust to suit your space.

How long does delivery take?

For most capital city metro areas, delivery is typically 1–2 business days. Regional areas generally take 2–5 business days depending on location. If your order is time-sensitive, pop a note in the order comments at checkout or give us a call and we’ll do our very best to get it shipped as quickly as possible.

What if I’m not home when it’s delivered?

No worries at all — you’ve got options. At checkout, you can request the courier leave your parcel in a safe place (such as a front porch or behind a gate) using the authority-to-leave option. If that isn’t suitable, the courier will leave a card in your mailbox and you can arrange a re-delivery at a time that works for you.

What’s your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day return period from the date of delivery. That said, we very rarely receive returns — we take a lot of time and care to make sure our product photos are accurate to real life, and we only stock products we’re genuinely proud of. If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, get in touch with our team and we’ll sort it out.

How do I clean and care for them?

It couldn’t be easier. A light dust every now and then or a gentle wipe with a damp cloth is all they need to stay looking fresh. Avoid using chemicals or cleaning products — they’re not necessary and can damage the foliage over time. That’s it. No watering, no pruning, no sunlight requirements.

How long will they last?

Kept indoors, artificial plants can last many, many years. We’ve personally had plants and trees in our own homes for well over a decade and they still look fantastic. The key factors that affect longevity are direct sunlight (which can fade colours over time) and dust buildup — both easily managed with sensible placement and the occasional wipe-down.

Do you have a showroom where I can see them in person?

We’re an online-only store, but that doesn’t mean you’re on your own. One of the things our customers tell us they appreciate most is that there are real people behind this business — we’re not hiding behind a keyboard. If you’d like to chat about a product, need extra photos, or just want a recommendation for your space, pick up the phone or send us a message and we’ll look after you. We also provide plenty of high-resolution photos on every product page, and we’re always happy to take additional shots of any product if you need a closer look before purchasing.
