Description
The Hanging Boston Fern 1.2m is one of the fuller trailing ferns you will find. Fifty-two individual fronds arch out from a single central stalk and then fall away in long, uneven lengths, which is exactly how a real Boston Fern behaves once it has outgrown its basket. The two-tone green — fresh light tips over deeper, glossier mature fronds — is what sells it up close.
Each frond is polyester and plastic over an iron-wire spine, so you can lift, drop and fan them individually until the fall sits the way you want it. It arrives un-potted with a single stalk at the centre, ready to slip into a hanging basket, a wall planter, or a tall pot on a shelf.
Styling tip: Hang it high enough that the fronds finish above eye level. Boston Ferns read best when you look up into them — over a stairwell, along a pergola, or at the end of a kitchen bench where the fall has room to breathe.
