Transforming an interior space with Vertical Wall Gardens - a case study

5th Sep 2020

Have you ever admired a flawless, lush vertical wall garden and wondered how it looks so incredible…and how you can achieve this in your own interior space?

At Uniq Stone, a South Australian based business specialising in marble and stone bench tops, owner Armando was searching for an interior feature that would bring a sense of nature and calm to the Reception area, to contrast against the cooler textures of stone. This lead him to the Artificial Plant Shop whereby he found the ideal solution.

The Reception area was the main project to be completed and after consulting with Tyson, one of our knowledgable Artificial Plant shop representatives.
Armando states, “we were looking for an inviting piece for our showroom and something to create a statement piece for our reception”. Uniq Stone decided to fit the area with our Vertical Wall Foliage Panels to create a vertical garden which is set right next to the reception desk. These come in 1m x 1m panels so can be adjusted to fit perfectly in almost any space, and can also be cut and fit to size in really unique spaces. The Evergreen wall is ultra-lifelike, however due to being artificial it comes without all the upkeep and maintenance of real plants. This was exactly what Armando was looking for, with all the staff being extremely busy, avoiding the hassle of taking care of real plants was crucial, while also creating a lifelike and enticing finish to the space.

Much to the Artificial Plant Shops delight, Uniq Stone were extremely happy with the result and decided to complete a second project in another interior area of their business. This involved initially creating a small feature in the middle of one of their walls, although after seeing the success of the foliage in the reception area, they wanted to cover the entire wall instead. A White Hydrangea wall feature was incorporated into this project, adding a bright, fresh feel to the area. This runs horizontally across the room which also makes the space to appear larger.

A great feature of the Vertical wall foliage products used is that they are UV treated, meaning they can be placed in direct sunlight and the quality will not diminish. The Evergreen wall is full of lush green foliage, including lots of different varieties, so it looks anything but artificial. When asked why he chose the Artificial Plant Shop, Armando commented that they supply “the most dense and realistic plants so we are so happy that we got them”.

So…are you ready to create your own interior statement piece? Whether you are working from home and need a splash of nature bringing calm to your space, or if you have a commercial business like Uniq Stone that could benefit from a subtle but powerful wall feature, the Artificial Plant Shop can help you out.
